Interreligious peacekeepers form a network of conscious and active people who understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the political, military and economic role of the United States in this conflict. To create and develop such a network, we conduct delegations of people from different backgrounds to Israel/Palestine. These delegations stress the importance of listening to and learning from those who are immersed in the reality of the conflict, as well as promoting the work of Israelis and Palestinians committed to a non-violent struggle and a just peace. We strive to provide delegates with the opportunity to educate local communities and the media, confront unfair or inaccurate stereotypes, and advocate for a more equitable U.S. foreign policy that:
* actively promotes civil, political and Human Rights
* Affirms the political self-determination of Palestinians and Israelis
* contributes to sustainable economic and environmental development in the region
* and supports a diplomatic solution to the conflict, not imposed by force of arms.
