ARIJ Map of Bil'in

In the above map, the green line represents the boundary of the West Bank. The red line, the route of the constucted wall and fence, shows how much the wall route deviates from the West Bank boundary.

The areas outlined in blue and with names in red are Israeli settlements on West Bank land. Bili'n and Safa (in black) are Palestinian villages. The village boundaries are also in black--both villages have substantial land that is now on the east, or Israeli, side of the wall.

On Bil'in lands east of the wall, you can see both Mattiyahu East settlement and, marked with an 'X,' the Palestinian outpost.

This map was slightly adapted from a map made by the Applied Research Institute-Jerusalem (ARIJ). You can access many more materials at their website: http://www.arij.org/
